Frances Joan Hopley

Frances Joan Hopley, 86, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 7:11 a.m., at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab, Taylor Springs, IL. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Waveland Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church of Hillsboro, IL, will officate.  Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL

Mrs. Hopley was born on September 4, 1932, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late Sharon E. & Mary Katrina (Newport) Green. She attended Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL.  She married Bernard "Barney" Hopley on September 4, 1950 at Waveland Church, Hillsboro, IL. He preceded in death on May 14, 2000.  Mrs. Hopley had an Upholstery business and had worked as a Environmental Service Manager for CHI in Homestead, FL.  She had lived in Hillsboro, IL; Homestead, FL; and Witt, IL.  Mrs. Hopley loved to recover furniture and listen to old gospel music.  She lived for her family and loved spending time with them

Mrs. Hopley is survived by three children, Vern (Wife Barbara) Hopley of Irving, IL, Paul (Wife Vita) Hopley of Nokomis, IL, and Rebecca (Wife Kat) Hopley-Jackson of Springfield, MO; twelve grandchildre; twelve great grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon K. Green of Naples, FL, Camilla Reimer of Springfield, IL, Virginia Robbins of Bloomington, CA & one brother, Harold Green of Hillsboro, IL 

Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Hopley was preceded in death by three sons, one in infancy, Bruce Hopley on September 18, 2006 and Earl Hopley on March 15, 2018; one grandson, John Lee Hopley in infancy; two granddaughters, Katrina M. Hopley in infancy and Jennifer Hopley on December 25, 2016 and one sister, Betty Millikin.
