Laura Kay (Richmond) Moler, 54, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019, at 5:46 p.m., at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL. Cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Irving Century House in Irving, IL. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Moler was born, on June 14, 1965, to Carroll J. “C.J.” and Martha (Davis) Richmond. She married Michael Moler, on November 16, 2013, in Hillsboro, IL and he survives in HIllsboro, IL. Mrs. Moler had worked at Shell Gas Station in Hillsboro, IL and was a stay at home mom & grandma. She had lived in Hillsboro,IL her entire life and loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, camping, fishing and just being outdoors.
Mrs. Moler is survived by her husband, Michael Moler of Hillsboro, IL; mother, Martha Richmond of Hillsboro, IL; daughter, Kaylin L. Richmond of Hillsboro, IL; son, Jonathon Richmond of Smithboro, IL; four grandchildren, Arik Richmond, Ira Richmond, Nicolai Richmond & Arya Richmond and five siblings, Rebecca Ann (husband, LeRoy) Hartel, Lonnie Dane Morgan, Judy DeLane (husband, Charlie) Goad, Terry Lee (wife, Tammy) Richmond & Jane (husband, Don) Murphy. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll J. "C.J." Richmond and a sister, Peggy Sue (Morgan) Joyce.
