Shirley M (Bandelow) Reincke

Shirley M. Reincke , 84, of Irving, IL, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019, at 11:57 a.m., at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home.  Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officate.  Buiral will be in Irving Cemetery in Irving, IL.

Mrs. Reincke was born on July 14, 1935, in Brookfield, IL, to the late Robert and Emma (Schmidt) Bandelow. She was raised in Western Springs, IL and graduated from Lyons Twp. High School in LaGrange, IL in 1952.  She lived in Springfield, IL for 1 year and then moved to Irving, IL in 1957. Mrs. Reincke married Leland V. “Bud” Reincke in Hillsboro, IL, in 1957, in Hillsboro, IL.  He preceded her in death on May 1, 1996. She worked as a bus driver for the Hillsboro School District, Hillsboro, IL, from 1971-1992, before retiring. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Reincke was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Reincke is survived by her sons, James (wife, Carrie) Reincke of Sorento, IL, Roger (wife, Ruth) Reincke of Irving, IL,  Richard (wife, Amy) Reincke of Hillsboro, IL and Larry (wife, Michelle) Reincke of Irving, IL; one daughter-in-law, Marsha Reincke of Glendale, AZ; six grandchildren, Dale Reincke, Heather Reincke Greenwood, Matthew Reincke, Lucas Reincke, Jennifer Reincke & Ryan Reincke; two brothers, Robert Bandelow, Jr. of Downers Grove, IL & Michael Bandelow of Loami, IL  and one sister, Jeanine (Victor) Muchow of Springfield, IL.

Ms. Reincke was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; 2 sons, Leland “Van” Reincke, and Kevin Reincke and one sister, Carol Bergman.

Memorials may be given to the Hillsboro Sports Association or Irving Cemetery.
