Allen R. Van Hyning

Allen R. Van Hyning, 81, of Butler, IL, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 12:13 p.m. at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehab Center, Taylor Springs, IL.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Wares Grove Cemetery, rural Butler, IL.  Burial will be in Wares Grove Cemetery, rural Butler, IL.  Cremation rites were accorded.  Military rites will be accorded.  Mark Noyes, Hillsboro, IL, will officiate.

Mr. Van Hyning was born on March 2, 1939 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Rolland Lewis and Laura Mildred (Hudson) Van Hyning.  He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL and worked finishing airplanes in Australia for Dassault Aviation, worked for Boeing in WA and St. Louis, MO, worked at Echlin Brake, Litchfield, IL, and later farmed full time.  He lived in Australia, Washington, St. Louis, MO, and Butler, IL during his lifetime.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Van Hyning is survived by many friends, including Curt and Brenda Pocklington.
