Betty L. (White) Settle, 92, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 3:13 p.m. at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care, Hillsboro, IL. A private funeral service will be held at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Burial will be in Irving Cemetery in Irving, IL.

Mrs. Settle was born on March 23, 1928 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Aaron & Ethel (Elmore) White. She married Olin L. Settle on March 6, 1947 in Hillsboro, IL and he preceded her on October 3, 2020. Mrs. Settle was a farm wife; she also did seamstress work for many people in the area. She had lived in Coffeen, IL; Hillsboro, IL; and Irving, IL during her lifetime.

Mrs. Settle is survived by her son, Russell L. (wife, Michelle) Settle of Irving, IL; three grandchildren- Brent Allan Settle, Daniel Lee Settle, and Morgan Brittnee Settle; siblings, Shirley (husband, Herb) Wright of Vandalia, IL and Denver White of South Carolina. Mrs. Settle was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters, as well as her husband, and one son, Lawrence E. Settle.
