Beverley Beatrice (Bowman) Davis

Beverley Beatrice Davis, 83, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 9:20 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro, IL. A Private Graveside Memorial will be held. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will be at Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler, IL.

Mrs. Davis was born on October 2, 1938 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Ralph and Sarah Fern (Dorr) Bowman. She was a 1956 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL. She worked for Diamond Club Insurance where she was an assistant for medical bills. She married Donald Davis on October 19, 1958 at Wares Grove Lutheran Church in Butler, IL. He survives in Coffeen, IL. She was a member of Wares Grove Lutheran Church in Butler, IL, the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, Senior Citizen’s Group in Coffeen, IL where she served as President and she was a Scout Leader. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Terri (husband Don) Satterlee, Jr. of Marine, IL; Jayne (husband Alan) Crews of Glen Carbon, IL; Stephen (wife Crista) Davis of Pierron, IL; and Michael (wife Billie) Davis of Fillmore, IL; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and her sister Helen (husband James) Brinkman of Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Edith Gurtner, Dale “Keith” Bowman, Alice Williams, Joyce Dickerson, Mildred Shelton, and Hazel Redman.

Memorials may be given to the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
