Catherine Tatham Obituary

Catherine Jeanette Tatham “Kitty”, 86, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 while in the tender loving care of her granddaughter, Jessica Keepper of Hillsboro, IL and family by her side.

Kitty was born and raised in Santa Ana, CA, November 29, 1933 to Fredrick and Meriam (Adamson) McMillan, alongside her two younger sisters, “Joan” Meriam Whitley and Martha McMillan. Kitty married Walter Tatham on December 8th, 1961; he preceded her death on June 1, 2015.

During her life, Kitty worked as a secretary and supported her husband during his Pastoral ministry as they raised their two children, Catherine Erickson of Tucson, AZ and Steven Tatham of Hillsboro, IL. She enjoyed attending quilters group, bible study, and a lunch out with her friends. She also loved Sees Candy and watching sports with her children and grandchildren. Best of all, she left a big footprint of Jesus Christ in our hearts. We will miss her greatly.

Kitty is survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Keepper of Hillsboro, IL., Sweet O’Neal of Troy, IL., and Matthew Tatham of Republic, MO. Along with her nine great-grandchildren, Sharayah Keepper of Hillsboro, IL, Blaze Ransome, Archer and Pierce O’Neal of Troy, IL, Kaylee Weeks, Kaynon and Kayce Tatham of Republic, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister “Joan” Meriam Whitley, and great granddaughter, KaDance Weeks.

At this time there will be no services. Condolences may be sent to Jessica Keepper at 660 Leva Street, Hillsboro, IL 62049.
