Clara Tilling Obituary

Clara Ann Tilling, age 94, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield IL. Private family services are to be held graveside at St. John's Cemetery, Coffeen, IL. Pastor James Hayes, pastor of St. James Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL will officiate.

Mrs. Tilling was a graduate of Hillsboro High School with the Class of 1943. She had worked at Hillsboro Glass Factory, was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro IL.

Her marriage to Thurman E. Tilling, Sr took place on July 31, 1948 at Coffeen, IL and he preceded on January 23, 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Lee) Tilling and Marjorie (Ron) Havenar; She was preceded by two sons, Thurman E. "Eddie" Tilling and Fred M. Tilling.
