Danny C. Robinson

Danny C. Robinson Sr., 73, of Hillsboro, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 12:22 a.m. at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL with the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL, will officiate. 

Danny was born November 26, 1950 in Litchfield, IL to Chidester Cullum & Grace Ann (Boyd) Robinson, both have preceded in death. He attended Litchfield High school in Litchfield, IL and went on to become the Street Department Superintendent for the City of Hillsboro, IL for 30+ years. He married Belinda Bramel June 6, 1970 in Chicago, IL, she survives at home in Hillsboro, IL. In his spare time he worked on lawnmowers, loved to spend time with his grandkids, and loved fishing and camping. During his life he lived in Taylor Springs, Litchfield, and Hillsboro, all in Illinois.

Mr. Robinson is survived by Children, Brenda (Tom Davis) Robinson of Hillsboro, IL. and Danny (Ginny Pryor) Robinson Jr. of Hillsboro, IL; Grandchildren, Trey Robinson, Kaitlin Robinson, Kyle (Julie) Davis, Alexis Davis, Jacob (Zoe Zachocki) Davis; Great Grandchildren, Riley, Gage, Marlie, Nolan, Colton; Brothers and Sisters, John (Pat) Robinson of Hillsboro, IL; Della (Jerry) Dobrinich of Springfield, IL; Georgia (Archie) DeWitt of Litchfield, IL; Peggy (Jimmy John) Hamilton of Litchfield, IL; and  Cecil Robinson of Hillsboro, IL.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and Siblings, Gerald “Zeb” Robinson, Roland “Hub” Robinson, Carl Robinson, Robert “Ray” Robinson, Myrtle Robinson, Grace Ann Miller, and Mary Matilda “Tilly” Miller.
