Danny Lee Taylor

Danny Lee Taylor, 66, of Harrisburg, IL passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, IL.  Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL.  Rev. Myron Kirk, Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, IL, will officiate.  

Mr. Taylor was born July 8, 1954, in Christopher, IL, to the late Robert H. & Marie (Taylor) Taylor.  He had served in the Army.  He married Christina Peters, on June 7, 2011, in Benton, IL and she survives in Harrisburg, IL. Mr. Taylor owned a woodworking shop and had worked at True Weld in Litchfield, IL.  He loved being outdoors and in the hills of southern Illinois.  

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Christina Taylor of Harrisburg, IL; four sons, Danny Taylor, Charlie (wife, Kayla) Taylor, Eric (wife, Dana) Taylor & William Taylor; one step-son, Brandon Kenny; eleven grandchildren; six brothers, Robert Taylor of Taylor Springs, IL; Johnny Ray Taylor of Hillsboro, IL; Ronald (wife, Patricia) Taylor of Hillsboro, IL; Michael (wife, Kris) Taylor of Hillsboro, IL; David (wife, Chrissy) Taylor of Greenville, IL; Victor (wife, Leah) Taylor of Donnellson, IL and one sister, Judy Taylor of Greenville, IL.  Along with is parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Taylor.
