David "Bear" Lee Brown

David “Bear” Lee Brown, 70, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2:27 p.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Burial will be in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro, IL. There are no services planned at this time.

Mr. Brown was born on June 26, 1951 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Howard and Mary (Powers) Brown. He was a 1969 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL and attended Vatterott College in St. Louis, MO and received a degree in accounting. He retired from the Hillsboro Glass Company in Hillsboro, IL and lived in Hillsboro for his entire life. He married Mary Eickhoff on October 9, 1989. She survives in Hillsboro, IL.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Brown is survived by his siblings, Robert Brown of Wyoming; Sandra Boulware of Minier, IL; and Barbara Class of Pueblo, CO.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ralph Brown.
