Shirley M. (White) McGill

Shirley M. McGill, 78, of Donnellson, IL passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 7:25 am, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020, at 2:00 pm, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL. Rev. Gary Stanford, Pastor of Taylor Springs Baptist Church in Taylor Springs, IL, will officiate. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Panama, IL.

Mrs. McGill was born on January 27, 1942, in Reno, IL, to the late Luther A. & Freda E. (Brewer) White. She married Allen Lee McGill, on December 23, 1961, in Donnellson, IL and he preceded in death on September 14, 2011. Mrs. McGill loved to play bingo, and she loved making plastic canvas crafts. She had lived in Reno, IL; Panama, IL; and Donnellson, IL during her lifetime.

Mrs. McGill is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth McGill of Donnellson, IL and her companion, Terry Vollintine Sr. of Walshville, IL and Lisa (husband, Bruce) Allen of Alhambra, IL; two grandchildren, Robin Allen & Victoria Allen; as well as seven siblings, David White, Jeffrey White, Timothy White, George White, Ray White, Frances Randle and Ruth Jernigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther A. & Freda E. (Brewer) White; her husband, Allen Lee McGill and her siblings, William White, Ronald White, Norman White, Allen White, Patricia Lynch, and Nelda Stratton.
