Veda E Voyles

Veda E. Voyles, age 91, of Grove City, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. A Graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hillsboro, IL. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL, will be in charge of local arrangements.

She was born August 8, 1930 in Fillmore, IL, to the late Virgil and Vera Harvey. Veda retired from South Western City School District in Grove City, Ohio.  She was an actively involved member at Grove City United Methodist Church. Veda was an enthusiastic card player, enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. Veda was a very supportive parent of Grove City Band Boosters Association.

Veda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Voyles; brother, Verlin Harvey and son, James Voyles.

Veda is survived by her daughter, Verla Voyles, and sons, David (wife Susan) Voyles and Stephen Voyles; grandchildren, Gregory (wife Becky) Voyles, Phillip Voyles, Jade (husband Titus) Moore and Logan Voyles; great granddaughter, Elaine Voyles; and many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Grove City United Methodist Church, 2650 Columbus Street, Grove City, OH 43123 or any charity of choice.
